Did you know that the first socks had split toes and were made from red wool. They are showcased at Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Wool socks are great for those who like it hard.

The first ever knitting machine was used for making socks in 1589. We still manufacture on one from 1939 making up to 30 pairs a day. We call him James Brown the sock machine.

In 1905 we started wearing socks from cashmere. Cashmere socks are isothermal and very comfy which is why they have been enjoyed ever since.
